VERB LIKE

 PRESENT SIMPLE

The present simple of the verb "like" in affirmative sentences is easily constructed. Since it is a regular verb, it changes only in the third person, with the English pronouns he , she , and it , where an -s is added.

PAST SIMPLE

The past tense conjugation for affirmative sentences with "like" is formed by adding -d to the end of the word "like". This applies to all pronouns. Negative sentences with the verb “like” in the past tense are formed by adding the past tense of the verb “to do” in English: didn’t before the word “like”.
FUTURE SIMPLE

As usual in English, the future tense of the verb "like" is formed by adding the word "will" before the verb for affirmative sentences, and the word "won't" for negative ones.

QUESTIONS

Questions with the verb «like» in English are constructed using the auxiliary verb «to do», for questions in the present tense the words «do» or «does» are used, while for questions in the past tense the word « did ».
